What is your average month income from Internet Marketing?
I believe this is the main and juicy topic that most newbie in the internet marketing arena is trying to find out.
Recently I tried to Google to find out what comes out from this topic and here are the results:
Recently I tried to Google to find out what comes out from this topic and here are the results:
- I recently got into IM myself but I'm already making $500/month in residual income...and it can only go up from there :-)
- This question has already been asked and answered a few times in this forum.
I personally never reveal my income because everyone is different.
If I say $10k a month, you would be excited. If I say $200 a month, you would be upset. - A good marketer is unlikely to reveal how much they make and even more unlikely to reveal how they do it...
- My monthly IM income starts at 100 and goes up from there. I'm in the process of working on some other IM projects and soon hope to have my IM income start at a 1000 and going up.
Looks like everyone have to start somewhere before they land in someplace and get really good and successful in it. Stick to the basics and apply what you have learnt and mastered before hopping into another bandwagon.

The Secret to Getting Great Sales Leads from Online Marketing
Most digital marketing campaigns — SEO, Pay Per Click (PPC), display advertising, and others — fail to validate conversions. This puts an extra burden on the sales force, reducing productivity and close rates. Adding a validation process into your campaigns will make your sales team much more efficient.
What Is Lead Validation?
Lead validation is the process of reviewing conversions to separate true sales leads from other types of inquiries. A typical digital marketing campaign tracks conversions. When a person clicks on your link in Google organic search results, an SEO conversion is recorded. When someone phones your office using a phone number displayed on your Bing Ad, a PPC conversion is recorded. At the end of the month, a report is generated showing how many conversions were recorded. Sales and marketing personnel review these reports and make decisions about whether to ramp up or scale back campaigns and how to adjust them for better results.
The big problem: Many conversions are not sales leads.
A conversion could be a sales opportunity — or it could be a customer service inquiry, a misdialed phone number, a personal call, spam, or one of a hundred other things.
Failure to Validate = Failure to Generate More Leads
If you think this is a minor issue or a marketing nuance, think again. Our lead validation experience has revealed something surprising: As many as 45% of all conversions are NOT sales leads.
Two bad things happen when all conversions are lumped together:
Companies are unable to accurately evaluate the performance of their digital campaigns. They may overestimate the level of success and continue to invest in campaigns that are not working nearly as well as perceived.
Companies are thwarted in their goal to improve the lead generating power of their campaigns, because their tactical decisions are based on misleading data.
From the salesperson’s point of view, these are very unhappy consequences. Not only does the stream (trickle?) of leads from digital marketing campaigns remain consistently modest, but also the salesperson may have to spend valuable time following up on non-leads rather than working on the real ones.
How Lead Validation Helps the Sales Effort
Lead validation is laborious but worth the effort. To validate leads, someone must listen to every phone inquiry and read every form inquiry — website contact forms and so on.
The validator or validation team separates legitimate sales leads from everything else, and passes them along to the sales team as quickly as possible. This simple action has three big benefits:
Sales management becomes aware of leads quickly, while they are still hot. Taking special action on high-quality leads increases the opportunity to close them quickly.
Sales personnel are no longer sidetracked following up on non-leads.
Sales management can listen to and evaluate recorded phone inquiries, gaining the ability to continuously improve internal systems for handling leads and non-leads.
How Lead Validation Generates More Leads
When leads are validated, digital marketing campaign reporting becomes more transparent and accurate. Managers see how many leads their campaigns are producing, not merely a vague number of conversions. This level of precision enables them to make better strategic and tactical decisions, both of which result in continually improving lead generation.
Strategically, companies accurately know if their campaigns are producing leads — and then can do something. Let’s look at a simplified example.
If a company saw (without validation) that every month its SEO campaign yielded 500 conversions and its PPC campaign yielded 300, it would invest more heavily in SEO. However, if the company saw (with validation) that SEO yielded 500 conversions and 100 leads, and PPC yielded 300 conversions and 200 leads, its investment decision would be to put more into PPC. Over a year’s time, this better decision produces 1,200 more leads — maybe more.
Actually, “maybe more” should be “definitely more,” since validation enables companies to continuously improve campaigns. In our hypothetical PPC campaign , let’s assume the company has set up accurate call tracking. Now it can do more than merely identify leads — it can also determine what specific PPC ad generated the lead, what time of day it was generated, what keywords were used, and more. This granular lead data tells PPC campaign specialists which ads work, what times of day are best to display ads, and which keywords generate the most leads. As the campaign progresses, it gets smarter — generating more leads more efficiently.
Very few companies validate leads, which is unfortunate but understandable. Validation is tedious, time-consuming and never ending. But interestingly, very few companies rave about the quality and quantity of their online leads, and very few feel they are getting the most out of their digital marketing investment. Why? Validation is the missing element. Add it to your marketing and sales strategies and reap the benefits from your more focused marketing and sales teams.

How You Can Be Better At Affiliate Marketing
How You Can Be Better At Affiliate Marketing
Although traditional optimization techniques have lost a lot of steam, they’re still an important part of maintaining a successful website. You’ve just got to use them a little differently to see any benefit from them, is all. Affiliate marketing, for example – a system by which a business rewards a partner for each conversion they generate – can help you build a valuable network of trusted associates and bring traffic which might otherwise not see your site
Of course, to actually succeed, you’ll need to know what you’re doing. Affiliate marketing is anything but easy, after all. There’s a ton of competition in the market, and if you’re new, it’s going to be some time before you start seeing returns.
It takes knowledge, patience, hard work, and a bit of luck. We can’t really do much about the last three, but we can provide you with a little knowledge to help you be a better affiliate marketer. Let’s get started.
Understand That Affiliate Marketing Is NOT Link Building
It can be tempting to look at affiliate marketing solely in terms of link juice and traffic – though that’s a rather critical error. At best, the two fields are only tangentially related – though some types of affiliate marketing make use of tracked links, many other forms utilize more complex and varied advertising methods. It isn’t as simple as belching out a few links.

Ways to Improve Your Email Marketing Results
Email marketing is an inexpensive yet highly effective way to reach customers. Get the most from it by using these tips.
Have you ever wished you had a magic wand that would send customers your way every time you waved it? Magic wands don't exist, but there is a tool you can make work like magic. It's email marketing. And, it's one of the most inexpensive and effective marketing tools available to you. If you're not using it, you should be. If you are using email marketing and aren't getting the results you'd like, review your email strategy and use these 8 tips to improve your results.
Understand your target market and how to reach them
Successful email marketing starts with an understanding of who you want to reach, and what it will take to make them want to do business with you. For some businesses, that means your email marketing campaigns will consist at least in part of information that educates, informs or entertains your readers to build brand familiarity and trust. For others, it means sending existing customers notices about new products and special offers. Before you start any email campaign, take the time to work out your strategy and deliver the right type of message to your customers and prospects.
Send to a receptive audience
A receptive audience is a permission-based list. People you add to your list without first getting permission will ignore your email, or mark it as spam. Build a responsive list by inviting prospects to sign up for your email list at every possible opportunity. Here are just a few suggestions:
Put a signup form on every page of your website
Put a sign at the checkout in your store with a QR code to sign up for your newsletter and/or text to subscribe instructions.
Include a sign-up link on your Facebook and Google+ business pages, and in your profile on other social media sites
Include a link to your signup form in the description for your YouTube videos
Add your signup link to all printed materials
Consider creating and including a QR code to let smart phone users quickly add themselves to your email list.
Let subscribers know what to expect when they sign up
Your target audience is more likely to give you their email address if they know what you will and won't be doing with it. Will you be using the list to announce new products or to send out discounts and special offers to your subscribers? Or will they be getting regular emails that are educational or entertaining? Will you be sending out an email once a month? Or once a day? The person who thought you would be sending them industry updates will unsubscribe if you barrage them with ads.
Write compelling subject lines
Your email marketing message is one of hundreds of email messages that hit your subscribers' inboxes each week. To get your email opened and read, you need a compelling subject line - one that appeals to the recipient's self interests, not yours. You may be pleased that you will start manufacturing fashionable leather handbags with storage space for a tablet computer, and it may be something retailers want, but few will open your email if the subject line reads "MiLady Manufacturing Announces New Product Line"
Encourage recipients to open your emails by using short, action oriented headlines that promise a benefit or solution to a problem.
Include a call to action
Just like direct mail or printed ads, your emails need a call to action. If your readers are expecting promotional mailings, the call to action would focus on getting the customer to make a purchase today. If your email campaign is aimed at building brand recognition and trust, the call to action would be presented along with helpful information and could urge readers to visit your website for more problem solving tips, or call your office for a free consultation or free sample.
Create emails that are readable on any device
A Pew Research Center report on mobile device ownership shows that as of October 2014, 64% of adults in the US were owners of smart phones. According to their research, 34% of cell internet users go online mostly using their phones, and not using some other device such as a desktop or laptop computer.
The device a person uses to connect to the Internet (and read their email) has a big impact on what they see and read. If they open your email on their smart phone and have to scroll from side to side to read each line, or see only an X at the top of the email because a photo didn't load, you've lost them. The solution: put text at the top of your emails, and use a smart-phone friendly email template to prepare the email. Major email services offer mobile-friendly templates for their subscribers to use.
Divide and conquer
Unless you have a small or very niche list, don't blast out the same email to everyone on your master mailing list. The small business with 1 or two employees is going to have different accounting needs and interests than the small business that has 20 employees. The avid skier may have no interest in the snowboards you're putting on special next week but may want boots for extreme skiing. You'll get better open rates and responses from your email marketing efforts by sending appropriate material to each group. You can ask people to indicate their preferences when they sign up for your email list. Other options might be to segment your main list products purchased, or by the number of communications you've sent to the particular customer.
Encourage readers to share your emails
Many businesses find that their top sources of new business are referrals and word-of-mouth. Encourage your email readers to spread the word by making it easy to share your email. Social media buttons, and forward to a friend links let subscribers "tell" their friends about you with a click of the mouse or the touch of an on-screen button. And, don't forget to include a link to subscribe to your newsletter in the newsletter itself. That will make it easy for people who receive the forwarded email to add themselves to your mailing list.

4 affiliate marketing strategies that work
There are a number of components that make up an effective affiliate marketing program. Affiliate marketing is becoming an immensely popular strategy for brands as it allows them to affordably direct consumers to their website by recruiting publishers – particularly those operating in niche markets – to promote goods and services to consumers. According to Internet Retailer, citing data from a study conducted Rakuten, approximately 74 percent Internet shoppers will view as many as three third-party websites before making the decision to buy an item being advertised to them.
To develop a successful affiliate marketing program, brands must take a strategic approach to partnering with publishers that will generate the most traffic to their Web pages, while also effectively measuring the results of this joint endeavor. Here are several helpful tips that can be used to build the foundation of a program that delivers positive outcomes on a consistent basis:
1) Carefully research affiliate partners: There are literally thousands of affiliate websites active on the Web today. However, it's important to remember that no two are the same. It will be wise to conduct extensive front end research before deciding which sites to partner with. Things to look for include the number of views for a particular item that an affiliate promotes, or publishers that offer a more cost-effective option based on the individual goals that a brand may want to achieve in the creation of its affiliate marketing program. Simply deciding to work with an affiliate partner without conducting a fair amount of investigation could lead to ineffective outcomes.
2) Offer discounts, coupons and other perks: In many instances, consumers may need a reason to buy an item presented to them online. Internet shoppers routinely scour the Web to find deals that will ultimately lower how much they spend on the products they're considering buying on the Web. Internet Retailer, citing a study conducted by Forrester Research, wrote that 48 percent of consumers who discovered a promotional discount on an affiliate marketing website, found more value in these offers as opposed to ones delivered to them directly from the retailer. This information is useful for brands in the process of deciding the kinds of publishers to partner with.
3) Mask affiliate links: The prevalence of Internet phishing and online fraud is one of the biggest concerns on the Web today. It's not uncommon for links to lead people to websites and other places on the Internet where viruses and other malicious programs are downloaded straight to their computers. Oftentimes, links from affiliate networks can appear to be untrustworthy as well. For this reason, Business Online Guidance wrote that one of the best ways to increase conversions is to create links to affiliate marketing sites that look trustworthy and will safely redirect consumers to the intended affiliate Web page.
4) Work with an effective affiliate payment service: Two of the most common questions asked by affiliate partners is likely to be how much their commissions will be and how often they will be paid. While it can be exciting to be involved in the promotion of goods and services online and then be compensated for it, it is not uncommon for this process to be a confusing one. Understanding how a brand partner will monitor and track views, as well as how much money a publisher will earn for every completed transaction between a company and its customers should be carefully explained at the beginning of the working relationship. In addition, it will be important to work with a payment provider – such as Payal. – that will ensure that publishers are promptly paid, in the correct amount and in a manner that will allow affiliate partners to collect their funds in an easy and efficient manner.

How to Learn CPA Marketing
Cost Per Action/Acquisition (CPA) marketing is known as affiliate marketing. As an affiliate, also referred to as a publisher, you earn a commission by the merchant, also referred to as the advertiser for any lead or sale. This type of marketing is best done by people who are Internet savvy and who have been successful affiliate marketers in the past. Learning the ropes of CPA marketing requires you to apply or sign up with companies or networks who encourage CPA marketing. Find out how to learn CPA marketing.
Enroll in an Internet marketing course at your local community college or Lifelong Learning center. This is essential if you have never done Internet marketing before. You will become acquainted with the major types of Internet marketing, including affiliate marketing.
Consider getting an Associate's Degree or Online Certificate in Internet, Digital, or Online Marketing. If you want to build up a good knowledge base and you learn best in an instructional setting, then signing up for a 1 or 2 year program may be your best option. In this program, you will learn how to start a career as an online marketer, including getting started with CPA marketing.
Like most types of online marketing, CPA marketing is changing constantly. Those who are most successful are able to learn through trial and error and constant research into new techniques. It is not necessary to take a degree program in order to be successful.
Set up a website. You may want to start with a blog in a subject of your choice. Many affiliate marketers start by creating content and posting affiliate links on their page. You will need to cultivate the ability to start new websites, buy domain names, host pages and make landing pages. These skills will become important as you begin CPA marketing.
Download an ebook on CPA marketing. Relatively inexpensive (or free) in comparison to regular books, ebooks about technical aspects of marketing are common. Consider titles like "Newbies Guide to Mastering the Secrets of CPA Marketing," "Newbie 411: The Official CPA Marketing Beginners Guide" and "CPA Marketing Simplified."
Practice driving targeted traffic to your website. You will not be able to gather leads if you don't know how to bring specific people to your website. Learn the basics of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. You can do this through YouTube videos, online tutorials or by trial and error. Set up an account in Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter, and pay for some ads that drive traffic to your website, in order to practice while you learn.
Learn how to use the channels that are often used for CPA marketing. The best way to become a CPA marketer is to learn how to drive traffic to websites. The following are ways that people learn to drive traffic.
Practice creating and promoting fan pages and groups on Facebook. If you know how to get "likes," then you are on your way to driving traffic to a lead landing page. This usually takes a passion for staying in touch with followers and trying new creative social media strategies.
Practice creating videos and YouTube channels. If you are an expert in a field or you can call on other people to create creative or instructive videos, this content grabs attention. Once you have traffic, you can post links to landing pages where you can gather lead information. Learn how to make and buy Internet ads. If you have graphic design skills and you don't want to create content on a blog or YouTube, then this may be the best option for you. You can find prime ad spaces, through services like BuySellAds, and purchase the ad space for a period of time. If the ad is targeted successfully, people will click on the link and type in their information, giving you leads. You will need to subtract the cost of the ad in order to figure out your return on investment.
Become adept at using PPC advertising to get traffic to your landing page. Similar to buying ad space, you will need to bid on keywords in order to place the link to your landing page where you will get noticed. If you have a lot of experience with search engine advertising, this may be the best option for you. Go to Slideshare.net to learn the basics of CPA marketing. This high quality slide show site hosts a number of tutorials, including "Learn CPA Marketing Today".
Day 84 - Campaigns further testing
Scored my first 2 conversions last night from my last traffic network top up. From what I have learn in CPA marketing, when your campaigns are converting, try to optimize and scale it to become more profitable. Apparently, these 2 conversions have NOT been actually tested but it is a different product from the same CPA offer.
Conversions that came from converting campaigns have 'refused' to convert, even after doing a single campaign with converting keywords/targets during testing phase. Instead of scaling to 3 targets or more, I only use 1 single converting target. No luck whatsoever!
The CPA network that I am using is W4.com.

Five Simple Internet Marketing Tips
A lot of people ask the question, “What is Internet Marketing”?
Many people believe that Internet Marketing is about selling things on the Internet. But that’s not the case. It’s not about selling your product; it’s about helping your customers to find solutions. Remember, it’s all about your customer. It’s not about you, your brand or your company. It’s also not about product or even your service. It’s about helping your customers to find solutions.
Here are 5 simple tips to help you to achieve that:
1. Help them to solve a problem
Show your customers how your product or service can fulfill their needs, wants, and desires. Or show them how you can remove their frustrations, struggles and pain.
2. Help them to see the benefits
When you talk about features, you’re focusing on your product. But when you’re talking about benefits, you’re focusing on your customer. Your customer always asks the question, what’s in it for me? They want to know the benefits – how your products and service is going to benefit them
3. Help them to see the value in the service or product that you are providing
Make sure your product or service is:
– valuable
– dependable
– reliable
– durable
– interesting
More importantly, it has to be beneficial to your customers and give them exactly what they need and want.
4. Make it safe to try your product
Help them by making it safe to try out your product. Give them the information they. And also give them a guarantee so they feel comfortable trying out your product
5. Make it easy
Help them by making it easy. Make everything easy to understand. And make it easy to purchase once they’ve made the decision to buy.
Action Exercises
What are some of the common problems/frustrations/pains that buying your product or service will solve for your customer?
What are the benefits your customer will enjoy after solving one of more of these problems?
How will you make your customer see the value of your product?
What can you do to make it SAFE for your customers to try your product?
What can you do to make it EASY for your customers to try your product?

Day 80 - Topping up credits
Did a top up on my 50onred account last night and from my point of view, the targets on that traffic network are getting more expensive. Conversions seems to have dropped due to higher competition from new CPA marketeers or otherwise.
The top up is mainly not to create any new campaigns but to run campaigns that have conversions in it. After 24hrs, I should have at least a conversion. Have been slow in my progress as I did not test new campaigns so far after my last update.
This top up marks $3k overall in my CPA journey and of course, it will not be the last top up!

5 Things You Need to Know About Joint Ventures
A joint venture is established when two or more businesses realize that multiple heads are better than one and agree to pool talents and resources, such as copywriting skills or advertising expertise, to achieve a particular goal. Some have also defines joint ventures as strategic alliances that allow established businesses to share markets, assets, intellectual property, knowledge, and profits.
There are four ways to set up joint ventures with your affiliate program: the traditional way, upsell, affiliate referral, and affiliate joint ventures. The traditional contract allows vendors to give a portion of their earnings to a partner. An upsell contract lets product vendors upsell another vendor’s product and split the proceeds however they wish. An affiliate referral contract permits a vendor to share a portion of its earnings with an affiliate manager or joint venture broker who referred the affiliate that led to a particular sale. An affiliate joint venture contract allows two or more affiliates to share the commission on a sale.
Joint ventures come with several risks and possible pitfalls. It is therefore important that you understand a few things before getting into any agreement.
How much does each party contribute?
You shouldn’t just assume that 50/50 deals are the best. Contributions can be made in any proportions, depending on the agreement. And even where it’s a 50/50 split, what exactly will each party bring to the table and does this equate to their share of the contribution? What are they contributing in terms of skills and expertise? How much cash are they offering? These are the kinds of questions to ask.
Who takes care of operations?
This is another very important question when starting joint ventures. Remember that someone will be needed to take care of day-to-day stuff such as customer service and keeping track of finances. Without a clear plan, these tasks can pile up and may eventually collapse the venture or cause one party to resent the other, leading to a strained relationship. Luckily, ClickBank helps ease operational tasks by providing full details of all transactions that occur regarding products for which there are preestablished contracts, easing visibility for all parties.
For how long does the agreement stand?
Is there an end date? In joint ventures, you need to specify the period of engagement. This is because most joint ventures aren’t eternal. The individual parties are likely to be running separate fully-fledged businesses on the side and the venture may have just been created to boost online store returns for a specific period of time. Deadlines and end dates allow for each party to plan accordingly.
How can intellectual property be used outside the venture?
Normally, you’d expect a few inventions to be made in the course of joint ventures. To avoid future problems, parties are encouraged to provide periodic reports on their discoveries, and to obtain assignments from investors as soon as the inventions are made to provide evidence of ownership. Most importantly, each party should be mindful of intellectual property rights, and licensing and ownership issues must be addressed accordingly.
What happens if there is a disagreement that you can’t settle amongst yourselves?
Of course, you won’t be starting a venture intending to quarrel with others. But what happens in the unfortunate event of a disagreement arising that you can’t solve amongst yourselves? Ensure that the obligations of each party are clearly defined along with procedures in the event of bankruptcy and grounds of default.
There are several benefits of joint ventures including access to new internet business ideas, markets and distribution channels, additional specialized expertise and resources, increased financial resources, and so much more. But most of these only come to fruition where there are clear guidelines and proper understanding of what joint ventures entail.

What Is CPV Lab?
CPV Lab is designed to help you track and optimize your PPV campaigns. It’s billed as an advanced analytics platform and that’s exactly what it is. Many of you will be familiar with Prosper202. The Prosper tracking platform is a fine solution but it also comes with limitations. Where you struggled to get it to do exactly what you wanted in the past, CPV Lab just clicks in to gear without breaking a sweat.
In fact, CPV Lab comes gift wrapped with a bow tie that says “Hello sweet affiliate, won’t you make some money with me?” The software is clearly developed with our very specific needs as affiliates in mind. It boasts some of the most powerful reporting functionality I have ever seen. But it’s also laced with useful tools that can be tweaked to act like an artificial intelligence for affiliates. I’ll get on to those tools later.
Split testing is critical to the success of any campaign. CPV Lab is so flexible that if you so wished, you could compare the performance of a direct linked campaign with 3 separate landing pages. If you wanted to go further, you could choose to test three separate offers with each variation of the landing page. Or as many as you like. The software automatically adds the next variable in to the loop and distributes your traffic evenly.
This is a nice touch, but without flexible reporting, it just makes your life a lot harder. Well that’s why CPV Lab is such a beast of a creation because it tracks every single variation, every single time in every single way. Once your tracking pixel is added, even the primal newbie art of chucking shit at the wall stands a chance of succeeding. Each landing page and offer can be viewed with accurate breakdown of how your PPV targets are performing on that particular variation.
We’ve all been left with the bitter taste of “Oh I could probably make money here, if I just knew which part of the process was failing me” But if you can’t pinpoint where you’re leaking the cash, it’s a case of another PPV campaign bites the dust. CPV Lab sniffs and scratches under the surface. If there’s a part of your campaign that’s profitable, it will find it.
The bottom line is that CPV Lab is simply amazing. It is a must if you are doing CPA Marketing. CPV Lab will help you in optimizing your campaigns and improves your productivity. All-in-all, save your time, money, effort with CPV Lab testing, tracking, and optimizing software. So improve your ROI on campaigns across various traffic sources with full control and unlimited flexibility.

Day 70 - Conversions Profit and Loss Summary
Good Morning! Been quite a few days since I last updated my progress on CPA marketing. 5 days to be exact! Well, finally all my traffic network funds have exhausted. Total spent $2900 + $250 free credits.
You may ask, how do I get free credits? Its simple, allow me to share with you.
Now assume that I am 'A', as 'A' was refereed by CPA. So both CPA and A gets $50 each.
Now A refereed B, so both A & B gets $50 each = $100. As a matter of fact A & B are both my accounts.
Lastly B refereed C, which is my 3rd account. As such, B & C both received $50 each. In total, that's how I achieved $250 free credits.
I just broke the 'egg' today and achieve my 1st conversion for the month of June 2015 of $28 (meaning clocking a conversion or sales)
Neverblue YTD (Year to date) = $77.50 in total
W4 YTD = $1145.05 in total
Gross = 28+77.5+1145.05=$1250.55 achieved in CPA on day 70.
(Gross Profit – Marketing Investment)
Marketing Investment
My Gross Profit is $1250.55 - $2900 / $2900 = ROI (56.87% ), that's my P/L summary. I have used $2900-1250.55 = $1649.45 to find out which campaigns are working and have since found a few profitable ones. Will test other traffic sources soon. Day 65 - Mistakes to avoid when scaling
I shall post and share my worst performing campaign and my best performer today.
This is a screenshot from my Media Traffic campaigns:
Total spendings of $400 and total earnings of $28.25 = ($371.75) The best performer is a single conversion of $10.50.
Coming up next is 50 on red traffic network:
Worst performing campaign spent ($231.87). I think the main reason is because once I get a single conversion, I scale it too fast and too furious without proper fine tuning the results and adding more keywords. Mistake to avoid? Make sure that the campaign is 100% profitable before you try to scale up and do it slowly by adding ONE target at a time!
For this traffic source, I have yet to find a best performer as there isn't any profitable campaigns YET. Next traffic source that I am going to share is Trafficvance. For this traffic source, the only confucing part is bidding of the keywords and it took me almost a month to figure it out. You can find my first post on Trafficvance here.
Firstly, let me share my overall campaigns:
Total spent to date : ($901.58) Campaign which spends the most ($105.58) and generate 6 conversions of $57.40. Did a 'loans' campaign and which did not converts and spent ($85.71) which many marketeers will know that its a costly campaign for keyword bidding. What about my best performer? So far I am still testing it and using unlimited for daily and total budget. To add on to the quality of the traffic, I did an increase in frequency cap and manage to convert 1 profitable campaigns into 3 mini ones. I may or may not be topping up this traffic source as I will still be testing on other traffic sources soon.

Day 64 - A new milestone
I finally see some light on the campaigns that I have tested and beginning to understand deeper from the term "turning loss to profitable." When I convert my 1st profitable campaign, light bulbs suddenly lights up and I slowly convert more targets to profitable campaigns.
While Ivan had spend $5k on his first month on traffic, I am nowhere as gutsy as he is. Doing campaigns on a larger scale sure sees enormous results especially the weekends where conversions coverts like no one's business.
Even if the campaign generates $1, it is still a profit. If you do it on a larger scale, the profits are even better and much faster. I 'showed hand' on a weekend while doing max bid on all the converting keywords to find out that my conversions increased by a whopping 500%!
Today, I have crossed a new milestone of $1k in my W4 earnings after day 64. I strongly believe that it will be doubled next month as I have converted a few losses to profits. I can't wait to update my 3rd month results. As long as I don't stop I am still progressing slow and steady!

Day 61 - Review of 2 months progress after CPA Marketing Course
Total money spent on traffic network:
Media Traffic x 2 = $400
50 on Red x 3 = $1500
Trafficvance = $1000
Total spent on Traffic = $2900
CPV lab stats:
Current CPVlab alexa ranking is:
http://matchua.blogspot.sg blog ranking is standing at 3044227:
Spending time on creating campaigns has been cut down tremendously due to main business.
Overall campaigns ACTIVE campaigns: <40
Overall earnings for 60 days:
Everything on my stats almost doubled compared to 30 days ago. Without testing much campaigns and creating only on those that converts to optimized it further. My 30 days results can be found here:
Trafficvance balance: $248
50 on red account 1: $197
50 on red account 2: $28 (free credits from referral)
50 on red account 3: $18 (free credits from referral)
Total Balance: $491
So my friends, spending $2900 to get almost $1000 revenue + $491 balance = (-$1409) almost -50% ROI.
As the saying goes, keep testing and grinding.

Day 53 - Completing my campaigns
Hasn't really been creating new campaigns as I am waiting for my old ones to be at least halfway tested or completed.
My CPVLab ID is now standing at 125 with 44 actives ones. That means I have tested about 80 campaigns which is inactive now.
Now my strategy is to finish the campaigns before I keep spending on traffic to test new ones, which does not justify my P/L which is near $2k. The more I spend, the more losses incurred for spending on traffic network.

Can You Make Money from Affiliate Marketing?
Tips on Becoming a Successful Affiliate Marketer
After reading all the benefits of affiliate marketing if you think you will be rich over night by selling affiliate products online then you are wrong. Affiliate marketing is definitely an excellent way to make money online but it’s highly competitive too. In order to be successful in Affiliate marketing you need to know the market needs, learn how to promote products, what works and what doesn’t. The following are a few tricks on becoming successful in affiliate marketing that I have learnt over time.
1. Only Choose a Handful of Good Products
The first mistake a lot of affiliate marketers make is that they register with too many different affiliate programs and try to promote everything. Pursuing affiliate marketing down this path can become very overwhelming and you won’t be able to promote any product properly. All you need in order to be successful is a handful of good products to promote. Try to understand the market needs and look for products that align correctly with the topic of your site.
2. Use Several Traffic Sources to Promote Products
Most affiliate marketers put up the ads only on their sites. There is nothing wrong with this approach but know that there are many other traffic sources that you can tap into and promote the products simultaneously. The more targeted traffic you can send to the sales page the more your chances are of making money.
Google Adwords can be used to drive targeted traffic to a sales page. You simply make an ad in your adwords account then use your affiliate link in the target page URL of the ad. Obviously, you will have to continuously measure the conversions and see if the campaign cost is less than the campaign profit in order to keep the campaign running but I am sure you get the idea.
3. Test, Measure and Track Your Affiliate Campaign
It is a very good idea to use different product promotion strategies so you can figure out what is working and what is not. Try to do split testing and measure the performance of each campaign then take actions accordingly. Changing a few things here and there can increase your profit dramatically. Make sure to place the banner ads on different areas of your site’s pages. Some positions will make the ads more noticeable than others.
Most affiliate programs will give you basic stats that you may need but there is nothing stopping you from using your own conversion tracking software too. There are many conversions tracking sofware out there that you can use to track your affiliate campaign.
4. Research the Demand of the Product
If you try to sell a product that is in low demand then chances are that you are not going to get many sales no matter how hard you try. So it is a good idea to spend a bit of time researching and finding out if a product that you are thinking of promoting is a product that your audience needs. If your site gets decent traffic then you can conduct an online survey and easily get input from your visitors.
5. Stay Current with New Methods and Techniques
Affiliate marketing is a very competitive field and people are always coming up with new techniques. Try to stay current with these new techniques and market trends otherwise you will fall behind.
6. Choose the Right Merchant
When you promote a product you also promote the person or the company who is behind the product so try to choose wisely. You don’t want your visitors to go and buy a product following your advice then come back unhappy. Do you think that this visitor will come back to your site and take your advice again? Most likely no; this can hurt your credibility in the long run. Usually, websites/company that offer good customer service will have better customer satisfaction so try to stick with promoting their products.
7. Use Helpful Tools
If you are serious about affiliate marketing then try to find tools that will help you be more efficient. There are many helpful tools out there. If you are using a WordPress powered site then consider getting a plugin similar to the Affiliate Link Manager.
Don’t just hope and pray that visitors will buy; setup everything correctly and make it happen! If you think that visitors will click on your affiliate links and buy just because you placed dozens of affiliate links on your website then you are wrong! You need to have a structured plan in place. Affiliate marketing is a business so you will have a much better chance of succeeding if you treat it like one.

Day 41 - A new breakthrough in my earnings
Received a pleasant surprise to find out that I have got 5 conversions from different campaigns of over a hundred bucks. Not a big amount but its significance shows that my campaigns are showing little by little results when I do it correctly!
I strongly believe if I proceed to tune and test continuously, I will get constant results and generate $100 daily to achieve $3k a month. What if I generate $1k daily consistently? Yes! $30k monthly! 100% possible, just grind through daily and CONSISTENTLY. That's the magic word.

Day 40 - My first W4 Screenshot
Have added my 3rd $500 on 50onred traffic platform today. After running almost or over 100 campaigns (lost count) my total revenue is slightly under $500.
Here's what I have spent on traffic so far:
$200 x 2 on Media Traffic = $400
$500 x 3 on 50onred = $1500
$1000 on Trafficvance
Total spent on traffic ? A whopping USD $2900 on day 40, with some balance of about $1230 on TV and 50onred. Here's my W4 account screenshot.
So, to summarize my progress so far. I have spent some $1700 to test out about 100 campaigns and found a few profitable ones. Yet to get paid from CPA network but I have to keep on testing till I can find out the recipe for success in CPA marketing.

Day 37 - Trafficvance experiment with conversion
This is my 4th day using Trafficvance traffic network and the results are as followed:
Spent about $113 spread across 12 active campaigns with a single conversion of $10.50. Have transfer those converting campaigns from 50onred.

The new interface seems to be laggy and still trying to figure out how to do other geographic. Will continue to test the functions and I think the downside is that you cant see your total actual spending when your campaign reaches it total budget. The cost will be refreshed once the total budget is reached.

Day 34 - Funding with trafficvance
I funded my Trafficvance account yesterday and got approved immediately, did a double quick copying of my one and only profitable converting campaign from 50onred. Total of 3 campaigns running on trafficvance now.
This is my 3rd traffic source sign up from Media traffic x 2, 50onred x 2 and Trafficvance now. Let see how this traffic yields my ROI. Did I mention that I have received $50 credits for spending $500 on 50onred within a month?
While playing back some of my sound clips, I remember Nic was saying that he was running losses for about $3-4K USD for a period of 3 months before he found his profitable campaign on baby diapers. Guess everyone will have to encounter this path or rather this is part of I.M journey.
With that in mind, those pioneers that have made it in the I.M arena has kept my morale up as I know that one day I will also reach a destination where I will be as comfortable as they are.

Testimonial from a Billionaire?
I’ve seen internet marketers boasting testimonials from real millionaires. But this lucky internet marketer got a testimonial from a…BILLIONAIRE.
This has to be seen to really be believed:
He has also spoken to audiences in 11 countries as an internet marketing authority and has authored several books. In one of his books, he co-authored it with the brilliant – Robert G.Allen, the New York Times best-selling author.
The best part about it? He’s going to share his secrets to help make a passive income online with you, right NOW!
The fact is, he is so pissed off with all the “noises” out there. Sometimes, you don’t even know who’s real and who isn’t. That's why, he has decided to let you clone his exact system to make a passive income online.
Here’s the video link again:

Day 28 - The more you spend, the more you earn
As the days goes by, it is making more sense/cents now. Initially I do not understand the true and actual meaning behind those words. As I create more and more campaigns, the spendings get bigger and bigger. Conversation is slow but at least seeing SOME results gives great satisfaction.
Estimated traffic spendings: USD$789
Conversions:

Total 16 conversions from 7 campaigns.
How many campaigns in total have I created so far? Almost 50 and about to lost track.
Total revenue to date:
From Day 18 till today, its a total revenue of $253.75 = 10 days.
Actual traffic spendings = USD $536
So assuming in a month's time my revenue MAY be anything from USD $800-$1k
So my friends, it's starting to make sense now as my campaigns starts showing results and my revenue is slowing climbing and my spendings on traffic is getting lesser as it converts. You can refer to my last few blog post to compare the results.

Day 26 - Fine Tuning
Today I 'force' myself to work harder to make sure I get the desired results I wanted! Here's what I did:
Send email to W4 to hold all my payment and requested for $2500 threshold!
So what that means is that even if I got payout of $2499.99 from W4, I will not get paid cause it did not meet my threshold. Sounds super crazy for a Day 26 guy in CPA marketing, as my P/L in CPVlab is only $114 to date. So if you do the maths:
$114/26days = $4.38 per day
$2500/4.38 = 570 days to achieve $2500 with my current progress!
Of course I am not going to work 570 days till I get paid! That's how I 'forced' myself to work even harder by fine tuning the following:
I go back to those previous campaigns to carefully review the stats and budget used, to find out why there isn't any conversion. Those which didn't convert actually bust out my campaign budget with only 2-3 targets with (200-300 clicks) and the rest did not receive enough clicks to properly determine if the targets works.
Took me about 3hrs + to set 17 inactive and tune 28 active campaigns.
Set campaign to inactive if its not converting.
Adjust target budget.
Track targets and budget 'consume'. Guess what? Its all worth , cause I got another $28 conversion!

Day 25 - More conversations
42 campaigns
12937 views
Traffic spending to date: USD$613.48
Earnings to date: USD$106.75
P/L statement = -$506.73
I learnt something today, with approximately USD $600, I can bring a brand new domain from no alexa ranking to currently standing at 918570.
No matter how tired or busy I am, I make a point to do research and create at least 1-2 campaigns a day. I don't know if these results are acceptable but nevertheless I will continue to preserve and fine tune till there's results.
I have just top up another USD $500 using 50onred traffic source which can be found here:
